Just in case you missed my spotlight post on 16 year old phenom, Electrode, click here! ThisSongBumps is now spotlighting another young musical phenom by the name of BEN SHMIDT! This kid is barely a teenager at only 13 years old!
Ben isn't just one of those rich kids who got a mac for his birthday and fiddles around with garageband either! Ben Shmidt grew up in a musically talented family and gets majority of his musical inspiration from his father, who is a professional violinist and Ben's biggest supporter! Ben has been playing the cello since age 6. Now he loves producing EDM! Ben's favorite style to produce is electro house tracks, but says he has the most fun when producing melodic dubstep tracks. He also is very versatile in his genres also reaching moombahton/moombahcore.
Ben uses Ableton Live, along with Massive, Sylenth1, Zebra2, FM8 for his main softsynths.
